This adorable sign was inspired by one of my favorite childhood Peanuts books by Charles M Shultz, Happiness is... a warm puppy. This sign would be perfect in a children's room, or anywhere in the house really. I also imagine it integrated into a gallery wall filled with family pictures.
This sign was made by me, using reclaimed wood, so the beat up appearance of the wood adds to it's charm. It was given a custom stain/paint treatment that truly makes it unique. I hand painted on the words, then distressed them to give it a worn-in look. I also hand carved the bird on the left of the words for an added sweet touch, then hammered in some decorative tacks along the edge.
You can easily hang this sign on a wall, I mounted a wire on the back, or have it sit on a shelf as I have pictured. While this sign is rustic in look, it would go with any decor scheme, from ultra modern, to shabby chic.
